The Ruta de las Huertas (Market Gardens Route) is a way for the Aguadulce Town Council to help tourists discover the essence of the traditional agriculture that has characterised history and lifestyles in the area. Aguadulce?s broad beans are among the most sought-after vegetables. They are even internationally renowned, their quality being recognised at the Vienna International Exhibition of 1873.
