The building with a robust architecture was completed in 1893. It is located in the Plaza de España or del Salón, as it is commonly known. The brick façade has windows on its two floors and three centred balconies with stonework balustrades.

The Plaza de la Alameda, located in the southwest end of the town, is 130 metres long. Various streets - Extremadura, Real and Mimbre- and the Plaza del Palacio end in this square. It has a perimeter of about 400 metres and covers approximately 0.5 hectares.

The Valencina Archaeological Zone is located in the highest part of the Aljarafe of Seville, extending beyond its boundaries to the neighboring town of Castilleja de Guzmán. Its extension of more than 400 hectares makes it one of the largest settlements of the third millennium BC.

The 18th-century temple was built on an old Mudejar temple from the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries, destroyed by the Lisbon earthquake. The project was completed, among others, by José Álvarez, a neoclassical architect who gave the church its current appearance and style.

In Roman times, La Luisiana was located on the Via Augusta, very close to the colonies of Astigi (Écija) and Obulcuva (La Monclava). The Roman baths are considered one of the most remarkable constructions from this period, both from an artistic and archaeological point of view, where two distinct sections can be discerned. 

Teatro Romano

The theatre is just a stone's throw from the Italica Archaeological Site and was built during the time of Augustus and restored in 2014. It was built in three stages between 30 and 37 A.D. Later, during the 60's and 80's A.D., major renovations were made to the semicircular façade and the stage.

The Roman city of Italica is found in the Lower Guadalquivir, halfway between Seville (Hispalis) and Alcalá del Río (Ilipa), in what is now Santiponce, very close to the routes that communicated with the mining area of the Seville’s Sierra Morena and Huelva. It played an important strategic role during the High Roman Empire in both the political-military and economic spheres.
