Seville, beautiful and diverse

This festival, organised by Alcalá de Guadaíra’s City Council since 2006, partners with the flamenco club, Peña Flamenca Soleá de Alcalá.

Admission is free to this carefully crafted event that seeks to promote flamenco.
 

This festival was declared an Andalusian Event of Tourist Interest. This initiative was launched by José Meneses and Francisco Moreno Galván in 1967. The festival is held in different squares and locations in the town, bringing together people from all over Spain and other countries, in particular Germany, the United States and France.

It is located in an 18th-century building known as the Casa del Aire. The Museum of Women in Flamenco is the only existing centre of its kind in the world, where visitors can gain insight into the living history of this acclaimed form of art.

A festival born at the same time as the Peña El Rincón del Pilar.

Arahal is a fundamental cornerstone of flamenco in the province of Seville. The Flamenco Festival, Al gurugú', Memorial Niña de los Peines, takes place every year in June. The “verde que te quiero verde” award is presented at this festival.

The Festival de Cante Jondo is one of the oldest festivals in the province of Seville.

This flamenco event is held in the month of July and is organised by the Peña Cultural Flamenca "El Niño de la Jara" with the collaboration of the Town Hall of Martín de la Jara, among other entities. 

The “Ciudad de Carmona” National Flamenco Song Contest has been held in this town in the province of Seville since 1982.  It is organised by the “Amigos de la Guitarra” Cultural Flamenco Association and sponsored by various institutions.
