El Castillo de las Guardas’ bullring is located in the town where two of the province’s most important fighting bull breeding farms are situated. Its location is unique in that it can be seen from the porch of the San Juan Bautista Parish Church.

The 19th-century bullring’s grandstand was built taking advantage of the terrain. Its oval shape, location and quarried stone architecture give it an undeniable charm. The existence of the bullring is rooted in the Marcos bull procession held during Saint Mark’s feast day. Visits must be booked in advance at the Town Hall.
