Holy Week was declared an Andalusian Festival of National Tourist Interest in 2001. Owing to its value and beauty, Estepa’s Holy Week is one of the most relevant religious events in the province of Seville.

Nine Confraternities march in procession from Palm Sunday to Holy Saturday. Each Confraternity has its own titular images and distinguishing features, including the robes, music and how they carry the floats. The setting in which the processions take place is also unique with narrow streets, charming spots and steep slopes.
