Tablao La Casa del Flamenco-Auditorio Alcántara

La Casa del Flamenco is located in the heart of the Barrio de Santa Cruz, the old Jewish quarter, a charming labyrinth of cobbled streets and silence, a few metres away from the Giralda.

The house, the original construction of which dates from the 15th century, underwent its most important restoration in the 17th century, a time when it belonged to the Sevillian celerity Justino de Neve, canon of the Cathedral of Seville.

The main courtyard of this house-palace hosts a genuine flamenco show every night. Its marble arches and columns, its coffered ceilings and traditional tiles, the scent of flowers, the atmosphere of almost six centuries of history create a unique location to enjoy the best flamenco in Seville.

Acoustics in this place are also exceptional, since they allow to dispense with microphones and amplifiers, thus offering a more natural and authentic sound. In addition, the audience is very close to the stage, so they can feel tapping with all its intensity. The atmosphere, the light, the connection with the artists... every detail makes the viewer feel the flamenco duende, the flamenco charm, the show becoming a unique experience.

In addition to hosting traditional flamenco performances every night, the Auditorio Alcántara is open to the exceptional programming of other activities: theatre for adults, theatre for children, conferences, workshops, exhibitions and concerts.

Your experience at La Casa del Flamenco does not have to end when the show is over. When the lights go out, you can stay overnight in the comfortable and modern rooms of the Hotel Alcántara, into the facilities of which La Casa del Flamenco is integrated.
