Antiguo Palacio de los Cepeda

The former Palace belonged to the Counts of Cepeda, whose most prominent member was Saint Theresa of Jesus. Her image appears above the doorway. Its baroque façade from the mid-18th century is one the most beautiful in Osuna. The portal is framed with stone estipites, while the balcony is crowned by the family coat-of-arms flanked by two almost life-size halberdiers. Several windows embellished with beautiful ironwork grace the large façade.

The interior of the palace has been upgraded. There is a beautiful and lively courtyard to the left, next to a wide staircase crowned by a majestic vault decorated with paintings.

This epitome of 18th-century architecture now houses Osuna’s Courts of First Instance and Preliminary Investigations Instruction. The building is not open to visits.
