La Prusiana Arch

The La Prusiana Arch is all that remains of the former Hacienda La Prusiana, an 18th-century estate whose buildings were demolished years ago.

The estate featured a large courtyard around which the stately house and ancillary buildings once stood. After their demolition, the lands were slated to build the La Prusiana housing estate. Although the original arched entrance was preserved, it was rebuilt with a lowered arch, small cornices and decorative merlons. The La Prusiana Arch, which features a stone coat-of-arms that reads ’Year 1772’, has become the symbol of this residential development.
