This Mudejar Thematic Centre is located in the San Felipe district, at the end of an alure on Ancha Street.

The building has a central courtyard with arcades on all sides, surrounded by simple perimeter bays. The construction could be dated to the early 16th century; however, archaeological research has proven the existence of different phases. The courtyard, from the period mentioned above, was built making use of two existing bays or wings, which date back to at least the 15th century. The western half of this building collapsed in the mid-18th century and was rebuilt to its original state.

The courtyard was initially decorated with mural paintings of which some fragments remain. The symbols of the Passion of Christ in the southern gallery are of particular interest.  In addition to paintings, the people who inhabited this building etched drawings into the wall of the courtyard galleries, including the scene of a landing from the late 15th century.

The material exhibited in its rooms not only provides insight into not only the arts but also life in the late Middle Age and early Modern Era.
