By train

Reaching Seville by train is one of the most comfortable and economical options available. Tickets are easy to obtain and can be purchased at any vending machine, sales point or online. There are connections from Barcelona, Madrid and other communities and, of course, from any point in Andalusia.

Barcelona-Seville
The AVE high speed train is the fastest way to get from Barcelona to Seville. The train covers 828 km in approximately five and a half hours. Departures are daily from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, and the departure frequency is four times a day: 9:00 am, 11:00 am, 12:00 am and 5:00 pm. The train departs from the Barcelona-Sants station.

Talgo trains from Barcelona to Seville are also available at a lower price. Travel time on this type of train is approximately 11 hours. The Talgo 200 has six daily departures in each direction and connects Madrid to Malaga. It has a locomotive, a restaurant car and nine passenger carriages, seven Tourist class and two Business class.

Madrid-Seville
The AVE high-speed train is the fastest way to get from Madrid to Seville. The approximate travel time is two and a half hours. Trains leave from 6:20 am to 8:00 pm from the Puerta de Atocha Station in Madrid.
You can also travel from Madrid by Alvia train. The duration of the trip is very similar, approximately two and a half hours, but it is more economical. The departure times of Alvia trains from Madrid are 8:30 am and 1:30 pm. Only two trains depart per day.

Connection with other points in Spain
From the Santa Justa Station there are daily trains to all the Andalusian provinces and there is also the Renfe Medium Distance train network that takes you from the Autonomous Region of Andalusia to the Autonomous Regions of Castilla-La Mancha, Extremadura and Madrid.

Line C-4: Circular Line: stops in Santa Justa, Palacio de Congresos, Padre Pío, Palmete, Virgen del Rocío, San Bernardo.

Line C-5: Jardines de Hércules - Santa Justa – Benacazón: stops in Jardines de Hércules, Virgen del Rocío, San Bernardo, Santa Justa, San Jerónimo, Camas, Valencina-Santiponce, Salteras, Villanueva del Ariscal and Olivares, Sanlúcar La Mayor, Benacazón.
