We leave Aznalcázar on the old Aznalcázar-Pilas road, and 200m further on we will find the Guadiamar Visitor Centre, where the Green Corridor begins. On leaving the town centre we take the path that starts on our left, to follow the route along the right bank of the Corridor, so that the Guadiamar will always be on our left.

Sierra Sur Greenway Trail

The Sierra Greenway alternates between the provinces of Seville and Cadiz. Coripe, El Coronil and Montellano are the mountain villages on the Seville side.

All these villages, immersed in the Sierra Sur of Seville, are typical of the region, with whitewashed walls, flowerpots and Moorish roofs.

We will leave San Nicolás del Puerto looking for the Greenway, to cover 6 km until we reach Cerro del Hierro. From the Cerro del Hierro, we should take the road that leads to the Cerro del Hierro, to reach the SE-7102 road, turning left towards Constantina. We will have to cover 8 km and we will arrive at a crossroads with the A-455 where we will turn left to reach Constantina after 2 km.

From the lower part of Villanueva del Río and Minas, the route descends further (following a signalled path) to the Huéznar River, crossing it. It is possible to park your car  a few metres ahead of the San Fernando quarter, for example next to the Lago del Mirador.

El Cerro del Cura

The trail runs along a path in the urban area of Alanís, which surrounds the Cerro del Cura (Priest's Hill), following a circular route. From the village, look for the beginning of the Guadalcanal road and follow it for 300 metres until you see the path on your right.

This periurban park has a dense networks of path that circle or cross it. The proposed route starts at the entrance of the park and circles it counterclockwise. The first section consists on a narrow compacted earth pact that runs along the perimeter of this protected natural area, which is the home to several native plant species, mostly scrub and ornamental plants.

We will start from the Barge of the Port of Coria del Río and take the Avenida de Andalucía to the left. At the end of the avenue we turn right into Calle Hornos and then left into Avenida de Blas Infante until we reach a roundabout, where we will look for the signs to Puebla del Río and Dehesa de Abajo.
