Semana Santa Estepa

Seville enchants

We will leave from Castle of Las Guardas on the A476. After 2500 metres we reach the junction with the N433, where we turn right towards Seville. We will have to cover 17 km along the national road to the junction that indicates El Ronquillo N630. From this area we will have to walk 6.5 km to find a detour on the right that indicates El Ronquillo Greenway along an unpaved road.

The route starts in Calle Granada in La Puebla de Cazalla. This street is straight and at the end of it we turn right into Avenida José María Moreno Galván. After 100 metres there is a roundabout with a fountain in the centre: Tourists will have to continue straight on along Avenida Dr. Espínola, which will take them out of the town.

We will start from Calle Bécquer. After about 300m we will reach a roundabout where we take the turning to the right towards Lantejuela along Calle Nuestra Señora del Carmen and, without leaving this street, we will reach Calle Explanada de la Estación, where we will soon have to turn looking for the turning signposted to Lantejuela. We will take the A407.

We will start our route on the A-456 road, which crosses the town of Lora del Río in the direction of Fuentes de Andalucía, which, without leaving it, will take us to the A-456 towards Fuentes de Andalucía. After approximately 8.5 km we will cross over the A-4 motorway, where we will continue along the A-407 until we reach Fuentes de Andalucía, which we will do via Calle Bécquer.

Las Navas de la Concepción

During the Middle Ages there were only cereal farms and livestock farms in this area, and it was not until 1557 that the monks of the Order of San Basilio established themselves in the area and were responsible for designing the layout of the streets of what is today the town.

We will leave San Nicolás del Puerto looking for the Greenway, to cover 6 km until we reach Cerro del Hierro. From the Cerro del Hierro, we should take the road that leads to the Cerro del Hierro, to reach the SE-7102 road, turning left towards Constantina. We will have to cover 8 km and we will arrive at a crossroads with the A-455 where we will turn left to reach Constantina after 2 km.

San Nicolás del Puerto

San Nicolás del Puerto is a small town but with an enormous and long history. The first civilisations (it is thought that there were Celtic settlements) gave way to the expanding Roman Empire.
