Carmona Carnival

Enjoy the Carnival in Carmona, a deep-rooted festival declared an Andalusian Event of Tourist Interest in.

After years of censorship, the festival was recovered in 1984. It is currently very popular, in particular, due to the Provincial Contest of Carnival Groups.

The Murgas, Comparsas, Chirigotas and Cuartetos, the names assigned to the different musical groups that participate, are of very high quality. The programme also includes a poster exhibition of the posters submitted to the Carnival Poster Contest and a costume party.

On Sunday, the children are the star of the parade.

A massive Carnival Parade through the streets of Carmona ends the festive event.
