The Casino de la Exposición is one of the main cultural centres of reference in the town, built to house the Seville Pavilion that formed part of the Ibero-American Exhibition of 1929.

The work of the Valencian architect Vicente Traver y Tomás in 1926, who, replacing Aníbal González, used Baroque-style elements both in the ornamentation and in the entire building, including the circular hall of the Casino and the columned portico.

Throughout the year, there is a careful, varied and wide offer with artistic exhibitions and other cultural activities such as book launches or courses.

Among the events that have already been held in this place, the World Chess Championship, the Film Festival and the Flamenco Biennial, among others, can be highlighted. As a highlight, since 2012, the Casino de la Exposición is the official headquarters of La Casa de los Poetas y las Letras (The House of Poets and Literature).

This Sevillian venue is located in a strategic place in Seville, next to María Luisa Park and Plaza de España, and very close to the monumental area of the town, becoming ideal place for different events.
