Consolation Park is Utrera’s most iconic park. Built on the outskirts in 1955, it is a local favourite for strolling, teaching babies to walk or riding a bike.

This large urban park is located next to Paseo de la Consolación. There are many landscaped areas and leisure zones, including bars and cafeterias, a municipal swimming pool and a Children’s Town. The iconic monument to the Alvarez Quintero brothers is also in Consolation Park.

The small zoo with ducks, peacocks and birds, that children and parent loved to see and feed had always been one of its main attractions. However, it was replaced in 2017 with new space for children known as Children’s Town.

Children’s Town’s design is based on ideas suggested by Utrera’s children through a contest launched in schools. Therefore, it has everything a child hopes to find in a park: slides, little houses, a castle, swings, trampolines and even a zip line. Children’s Town also has swings specially designed for children with disabilities. Since its opening, Children’s Town has become a favourite not only with locals, but also with families from all over Seville who come here. To gild the lily, the use of these modern facilities is free.

The Municipal Pool at Consolation Park is open in the summer. Anyone can come and spend a refreshing and fun day.
