The Torre del Agua Archaeological Museum contains one of the most precious examples of the heritage and cultural legacy of the civilisations that inhabited Osuna.

Located in the 12th-century Water Tower built by the Almohads, it was renovated in the 14th century by the Knights of Calatrava. The tower contains replicas and original objects of ancient art that symbolise Osuna, namely the Iberian “Toro de Osuna” and the Roman “Bronces de Osuna”. There is also a magnificent collection of Roman coins and medical instruments.

The tower has four superimposed rooms on two levels. The archaeological remains found in Osuna are exhibited here, as are some replicas. The first room holds the prehistoric remains and replicas of Iberian reliefs found in Osuna in the early 20th century. The originals are in the National Archaeological Museum. The second room exhibits pieces of Iberian pottery and votive offerings. Some objects from the Roman collection are on display here.

Most of the Roman objects, primarily pottery, are located on the second floor, as are various Visigothic bricks.

The last room showcases different objects, including Terra Sigilata from different periods, and a magnificent Roman coin and glass collection. Visigothic placards from the 5th-7th centuries can be found in this room.

The museum is listed as a Site of Cultural Interest.
