The Valentín de Madariaga y Oya Foundation is a non-profit body set up in April 2003 with the intention of becoming the commitment of the MP Industrial Corporation to promote actions in the field of Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainable Development.

It is the permanent exhibition centre of the MP Private Collection of Contemporary Art. This collection has a common thread and theme that provides it with coherence and unity: Nature and the Environment. The collection is an effective instrument for the knowledge, dissemination and promotion of Contemporary Art.

The Foundation aims to consolidate itself as one of the benchmarks for contemporary art in Seville. During this tour, visitors will be able to enjoy an exhibition of works dated between the middle of the 20th century and the 21st century, with artists who interpret nature by means of various means such as painting, installation, video art or photography, making us aware of the use we make of it and the need for its preservation. The artists included therein are Joseph Beuys, Cristina Iglesias, Robert Smithson, Lothar Baumgarten and Andy Warhol, among others.

Along with promoting culture and working as an exhibition centre, the Foundation is committed to training at different levels, most notably through its chair at the Engineering School of the University of Seville. Likewise, its purposes include training for employment and the promotion of the entrepreneurial culture, supporting projects that contribute to the educational and professional orientation of people, emphasising the promotion of the entrepreneurial culture, the knowledge of the company and the promotion of employability.
