This visitor centre is located in the heart of the 300-hectare Dehesa Boyal, one of the most beautiful ecosystems of Villamanrique’s rich natural heritage. This is a strategic location for starting the visit to the Doñana Natural Park.

The centre offers information about the environment and other public services. It also organises environmental education and active tourism activities, including equestrian routes, bird watching, and Rocio-themed routes and fetes. You can also enjoy the area’s delicious gastronomy.

A typical marshland hut is among the centre’s main attractions. This pleasant environment gives a sense of how the ancient inhabitants of Doñana lived. There is also a large Mural of the Dehesa, painted by the local artist Alberto Donaire. It illustrates a milestone in the lives of the inhabitants of Villamanrique de la Condesa, when the El Rocío Confraternities pass through the town on their way to El Rocío. This event has been declared a Festival of National Tourist Interest. Every spring, Villamanrique becomes the kilometre zero of the routes leading to El Rocío.
