The Holy Week of Las Cabezas de San Juan is a festivity declared of National Tourist Interest since March 1998.

Several brotherhoods go on processions through its streets on different days.

  • Palm Sunday: Brotherhood of La Borriquita.
  • Holy Wednesday: Brotherhood of El Cautivo.
  • Maundy Thursday (early morning:) Brotherhood of El Nazareno.
  • Good Friday: Brotherhood of La Veracruz.
  • Holy Saturday: Brotherhood of El Santo Entierro.

One of the greatest moments is Good Friday early morning, when, under a rigorous silence, The Sentence and the ascent of Jesus to Mount Calvary are staged.

In addition to the strictly religious section, the visitor can contemplate the archaeological remains of the town and enjoy a very artisan elaboration of bread.
