Murube Livestock Farm

A stone's throw from Seville, in the region of Utrera, the legendary Murube cattle graze on a farm of 850 hectares (500 hectares of dehesa for the bull and 350 hectares of wheat, sunflower and oats). A typical cortijo (farmhouse) of the Sevillian campiña (countryside) bordering Cadiz, its landscape is scattered with wild olive and mastic trees and you can see rabbits running and partridges flying overhead.

The livestock farmer José Murube Ricart, together with the head breeder Francisco Toro, and the cowboy Manuel Toro, control 520 heads of cattle with five stud bulls and 90 calves. The Murube livestock farm is one of the most legendary and its history has major emotional overtones, since after more than half a century it returned to the hands of the pioneering family that started what is today one of Spain's most prestigious stud farms.

The Murube livestock farm is benchmark of fighting bull breeding. A major part of the Vistahermosa variety has spread from it, giving rise to many livestock farms, each with its own distinctive characteristics.

Se puede visitar la ganadería el sábado 30 de marzo si se puede me puede decir el horario y precio para dos personas
