The Confraternity of the True Cross in Brenes has several display cases in which they exhibit the valuables of the Confraternity.

The first display case to the right holds the staffs of office of the members of the governing board. To the left of this case is the trumpet of the True Cross, the former crown of Christ and a few jewels. Opposite the entrance to the right is the showcase with the jewels of the Virgin Mary, including necklaces, gold and silver crowns, brooches, pearls, a throne from the old parish, and more. To the left of the entrance are the staffs of the youth and children members of the Confraternity. To the right of this showcase are 3 “sayas” of Our Lady of Sorrows.

Opposite the entrance to the left is the case that attracts the most attention. It holds the reclining image of the Christ of the Holy Burial with a crown of thorns.

Further ahead, past a glass door and to the left, is a showcase with the oldest mantle of Our Lady of Sorrows. To the right are all the paintings owned by the Brenes’ Confraternity of the True Cross.
Moreover, the Confraternity has a Holy Lignum Crucis, which contains a small fragment of the Cross of Christ (Lignum Crucis).
