Seville enchants

The Andalou Hotel is located between Seville and Ronda, in a beautiful settlement in Montellano, one of the white villages of Andalusia. It is located on an ideal axis for visiting the White Villages, between Seville, Ronda and Jerez.

The Salado de Morón Stream rises in the province of Cádiz and runs through Seville, crossing the towns of Montellano, El Coronil, El Palmar de Troya, Morón de la Frontera and Utrera until it reaches the River Guadalquivir, at the end of the Brazo del Este channel.

Leaving the Peñón de Zaframagón behind, and continuing along the Sierra Greenway, you will come to the planned Zaframagón station. Continue until you leave the tunnel before Coripe station, turning to walk on the tarmac of the local road, and climbing a steep slope to the first town.

The Chapel of La Safa was built in 1983. It is a single-nave building with a half-barrel vault held up by ribbed arches supported by pilasters. The altarpiece, the arms of lateral lamps, the stained-glass windows and the half-height tiling of the old Seville factory of Ramos Rejano are currently preserved.

This is one of the buildings constructed thanks to Rosario Ruiz Ramos, who bequeathed her estate for charitable purposes. The design of the chapel was entrusted to Antonio Llanes del Río, at the end of the second decade of the 20th century.

Since the Muslim period, the defence of Al-Andalus became a primary objective and that is the reason why castles were built in fortifications located in strategic places. Most of them are over six centuries old, witnesses of the Middle Ages, built by the Arab population to defend themselves from the Christians fighting for the Reconquest.

Coripe, nature in the heart of the Sierra's Greenway.

Coripe's greatest attraction is its natural surroundings. An ideal place to unwind and enjoy rural tourism, and just what Sierra Greenway has to offer. An old railway line, which was never completed, is now one of the most award-winning paths in Europe.
