Cascadas del Hueznar

Seville enchants

Leaving the Peñón de Zaframagón behind, and continuing along the Sierra Greenway, you will come to the planned Zaframagón station. Continue until you leave the tunnel before Coripe station, turning to walk on the tarmac of the local road, and climbing a steep slope to the first town.

We leave Coripe along the main avenue, looking for the signs to the Greenway along the A8126. We will descend a steep slope to the River Guadalporcún and, after crossing it, we will have to turn right following the signs to the Greenway.

The route of the Greenway is 15 kilometres long and passes through 10 tunnels, the largest of which are illuminated.

We leave the A-375 in the direction of Seville, looking for the turning to the left that indicates Las Cabezas de San Juan on the A-8128. After 28 kilometres we reach a junction with the A371 where we turn right towards Las Cabezas de San Juan. We will continue along this road for 12.5 kilometres until we reach the municipality, where we will arrive at Avenida Dr. Fleming.

We will start the route in Avenida de Andalucía. At the first roundabout, we must turn right towards Seville along the Avenida de Pruna. In this avenue we will always go straight on until a large roundabout called "de la Trinidad" indicates the turning to Montellano on the left.

After reaching the next roundabouts we must continue straight ahead.

The Sierra Greenway alternates between the provinces of Seville and Cadiz. Coripe, El Coronil and Montellano are the mountain villages on the Seville side.

All these villages, immersed in the Sierra Sur of Seville, are typical of the region, with whitewashed walls, flowerpots and Moorish roofs.
