Las Navas de la Concepción, nature and cuisine

Are you looking for a place to relax and reconnect with nature? Look no further; come to Las Navas de la Concepción in the heart of the Sierra Morena Natural Park. Surrounded by mountains, this charming town is the perfect countryside getaway to practise adventure sports or hunt.

The Isla Margarita recreational area is located next to the Hueznar river, accessed via a small wooden bridge. We are at a place of great interest, as in addition to having an exceptional landscape, we are next to the Vía Verde de la Sierra Morena (Sierra Morena Green Way), one of the most popular and busiest trails in the natural park, perfect for walking or cycling.

Located in the Sierra del Viento, the Cerro de La Capitana is the highest peak in the  Sierra Morena Natural Park at 960 metres. Its viewpoint, ideal for observing migratory birds and large birds of prey, offers spectacular views.

The Sierra de la Jayona, in the municipality of Guadalcanal belonging to the Sierra Norte Natural Park, is made up of shales and Cambrian limestone, folded during the Hercynian orogeny, with a northwest-southeast direction like its neighbour Sierra del Viento, from which it is separated by a deep valley.

The natural monument is located in the palaeontological site, Lower Cambrian Jellyfish of Constantina, about two kilometres from Cerro de la Víbora, in the Sierra Morena Natural Park of Seville.

The Loma del Aire occupies a privileged location on the northeastern edge of the Sierra Norte Morena Park. It offers panoramic views of the typical Seville’s Sierra Morena landscape from the 740-metre summit: hills and mountains of medium-altitude with valleys and rivers in some areas. The Canario and Quiruela hills and the ravines along the Rivera de Onza Stream can be easily identified.

The Sierra del Pimpollar and the Sierra Padrona, are two granite formations located one after the other. The orientation of the structures is northwest-southeast, as is the case throughout the Sierra Norte. Their altitudes are among the highest in the Natural Park at around 900 m.
