Cañuelo Fountain

The fountain is located at the edge of the town in a semi-open compound. The excess water is channelled to a basin on the opposite side of the road. 

P.A. Cantero mentions in his book "Las Fuentes Públicas de la Provincia de Sevilla" that there are written references to this fountain in the 17th century forbidding the washing of clothes, although it may well be older.
