Seville enchants

La Madroña is a municipally-owned estate in the northern part of the municipality of Burguillos. It is about 3 km to the north of the town proper, on the foothills of El Cerro de Moro hill. It is used primarily for recreational purposes.

The Rivera de Guaditoca is a small stream that begins in Guadalcanal near the chapel of the same name and runs northward to flow into the Sotillo River, which marks the boundary with the province of Badajoz. It is 20 km long and it is seasonal, remaining dry during the summer.

The Molino del Corcho Recreational Area is located a little less than a kilometre and a half from the Cazalla-Constantina train station, next to the Castillejo rest area. It is a unique natural site where the visitor can be in close contact with nature.

San Pedro was a former resting place for cattle now turned into a recreational area, where the Alanís Pilgrimage is held every year. It is located within the Sierra Norte Natural Park.

Facilities in the Park include barbecues, tables and benches, toilets, playground, fountains and garbage bins, a camping area and Los Carros Path.

This stream is located in the town of El Arroyo del Salado in the municipality of Pedrera. It is known as the Arroyo del Búho (Owl Stream) or Arroyo del Bujo (you can hear it referred to by both names).

The River Corbones is a tributary on the left bank of the River Guadalquivir. It rises in the Blanquilla, Mollina and Los Borbollones mountain ranges in the provinces of Cadiz and Malaga.

The Pinares de Aznalcázar is one of Seville’s forest areas with the highest ecological interest.
