In 2003, the beekeeper Reyes Martín, known as “La Alameña”, set up her own company to harvest, package and sell honey. Since she controls the whole process, there is no question that this homemade honey is 100% pure. Furthermore, the production is limited, as she has less than 900 beehives.

Herba Ricemills is a company specialised in the marketing of rice, especially for the Brillante, La Cigala and SOS brands. It belongs to the Ebro Foods group. The main plant is located in San Juan de Aznalfarache, although it has other plants in different parts of the Aljarafe, such as Coria del Río and Puebla del Río, as well as in other parts of Spain.
