Luis Cernuda's birthplace

No. 6 of Acetres street (between Cuna street and Buiza y Mensaque street) is the place where the universal poet was born. It is a small building of 2 floors, with a very simple appearance. It has housed a shop, and the idea of restoring it has been suggested in order to to make it the headquarters of the House of Poets. A tile and a tombstone can be found on its façade. The first one refers to his date of birth (21 September 1902), and the second one includes a fragment of his work "Ocnos".
