The Alcoba del Rey de Sevilla Hotel is located next to the Basilica that houses the universal Santa Maria de la Esperanza Macarena; this house stands where, according to legend, Al-mutamid, the poet King of Seville, hid from his father his love affairs with the washerwoman Rumaykiyya.

Its architectural structure, based on the recovery of handcrafted materials used in Andalusian Seville, revolves around the central Mudejar courtyard, around which the different rooms are arranged: reception, larder, living room, breakfast room, and its 15 rooms, each one decorated in a different way and with a different structure, and which give great importance to the bathrooms, all stuccoed and with built-in bathtubs and showers.

All the decoration of the Alcoba del Rey de Sevilla Hotel - crockery, lanterns, glassware, headboards, fabrics, taps, washbasins, curtains, paintings, materials and even the canopy beds and headboards - can be purchased by guests and thus, take a little piece of Al-Andalus home.
