Cooperativa San Sebastián was founded in 1963 by a group of farmers from Lora del Río who sought to work together to have greater power. From the outset, this agricultural cooperative has been linked with the evolution of agriculture in this region. Initially, they focused on the olive-growing sector, the main crop in the area. However, they soon began to explore new crops, such as maise.

In 2003, the beekeeper Reyes Martín, known as “La Alameña”, set up her own company to harvest, package and sell honey. Since she controls the whole process, there is no question that this homemade honey is 100% pure. Furthermore, the production is limited, as she has less than 900 beehives.

Production of meat and poultry products

Located in the heart of the Sierra Norte Natural Park, this company manufactures quality Iberian meat products.

The company manufactures and markets hams, cured meats, cold cuts, fresh meat, food products and beverages.

Production of beers following traditional methods, using only quality raw materials, thus achieving a 100% natural product, with no filtration, pasteurisation or additives.

In 1996, Destilería Cazalla, S.A., a company based in Cazalla de la Sierra and specialised in the production of aniseed spirits and Miura Cherry Creams, joined the Caballero Group.
