It was built in the early 1990s (20th century). The exterior is symmetrical with three main façades. The central facade opens onto the square through a wide door finished with a semi-circular archivolt.

The most notable feature of its exterior is the use of two colours, white and amber, to paint horizontal lines around the lower part of the building, and the two bell gables that crown all three façades.

It houses the sculptures of the Christ of Health, Mary Help of Christians and the Sacred Heart of Jesus, the latter being the titular image.

It should also be noted that the Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish Church is the canonical seat of the Confraternity of El Rocío in this town, with which it has had close ties since its origins. The Confraternity-House was founded in what was the old parish.
