Seville enchants

The Utrera Castle is located on a natural hill. It consists of curtain walls with defensive towers at the corners and between walls. The core area within dates from before the 14th century. Over time, the walled area expanded to 18 hectares, encompassing the Castle and 38 towers.

The Parish Church of Our Lady of Virtues is a clear example of the historical path of La Puebla de Cazalla. The Church dates back to the 16th century, when Juan Téllez de Girón, Duke of Osuna, ordered its construction under her advocacy. Both the fortress and the Castle were part of the estate of the Ducal House of Osuna. Consequently, the Duke decided that the town should be repopulated.

The Castle of Puebla de los Infantes is located in Calle Castillo, in the southern and highest part of the town of La Puebla de los Infantes, in the province of Seville. Regarding its history, the castle was built in the mid-14th century (1330 - 1344).

Located atop a strategic hill to the south of the town, Alanís’ most emblematic building has been a silent witness of the historical events of the town since the late fourteenth century, when it likely built.

The Los Molares Castle is the main monument of this Sevillian town. King Fernando IV granted the property of Los Molares to Lope Gutiérrez de Toledo between 1310 and 1336. This property was a small expanse of land on which a fortress would be built. It is likely that there already was a tower from an earlier period.

This fortress, whose origins coincide with those of the city itself, dates back to the Moorish period, when it defended the north-south road towards Seville and reinforced the line of defence of the so-called Cora de Firrish, although there is evidence to suggest that it is based on the remains of an earlier Roman castrum and possibly other military structures that were built to take advantage

The imposing Gothic castle of Cote was built at the end of the 13th century by order of Alfonso X, and handed over, together with Morón, to the military order of Alcántara in 1297, which led to the creation of commandery in the area.
