Shrine to Nuestra Señora del Valle

The Shrine, as it is today, is the result of extensive renovations that started in 1670 and were completed in the 18th century. The building was initially a small quadrifront temple to house the transept. The windows were subsequently closed, and several outbuildings were added to the structure. This small building wraps around the central hall, covered with a dome on squinches. A stone cross under the dome is mounted on a free-standing column.

The 18th-century main altarpiece, centred under a large central arch, holds the Tabernacle and contains the images of Our Lady of the Valley and Saint Rocco, the latter from the 17th century
