The Hernandez family takes to heart the Hydraulic Mosaic tradition. In 1927, José Hernández Gamero settled in Lora del Río, founding the first mosaic factory in the town. The family clan would come to be known in the town as the “loseteros”.

This is already the third generation of “loseteros” working this craft, using the best materials and state-of-the-art technology to produce high quality products.

Description of the tour

The visitors are welcomed in the 100-m2 showroom with an explanation of the history and uses of the Hydraulic Mosaic, highlighting that this is the third generation of manufacturers.

The visit continues in the factory with a demonstration of the manufacturing process and explanations of the different steps involved and use of raw materials.

The visitors can make a tile if they wish. Finally, each visitor is given a product catalogue and further information is provided if requested.
