Mercedarios Descalzos del Corpus Christi Convent

The Convent of the Barefoot Mercedarians of Corpus Christi with its Conventual Church was built between 1604 and 1617 by Diego Pérez Alcaraz to house a community of Mercedarian friars.

The Church of Nuestra Señora de las Huertas is located in the centre of the town of La Puebla de los Infantes, a few minutes from the Castle of La Puebla de los Infantes.

The Marquisate of the Peña de los Enamorados is a Spanish noble title created by King Carlos II in 1679 for Jerónimo Francisco de Rojas y Rojas, son of the 3rd Lord of the Peña de los Enamorados. Its name refers to the Peña de los Enamorados, located in the Andalusian municipality of Antequera, in the province of Malaga.

The 16th-century Church originally belonged to the convent of the Barefoot Carmelite Fathers. However, the remains from that time are negligible due to the extensive renovation carried out in the 18th century, and the reconstruction works between 1881 and 1883 that gave it a neoclassical feel.

The church has three naves separated by semi-circular arches on pillars; the central nave is covered by a barrel vault, with groin vaults on the side naves. Although it is mostly a 19th century, neoclassical building, parts of the church are from earlier times. Legend has it that the current structure is built over a Roman palace.

This is undoubtedly the most outstanding rustic building of a civil nature due to its historical importance. Located 2 kilometres away next to the crossroads of the roads to Cazalla de la Sierra and San Nicolás del Puerto (A-455), the building consists of a large hall, divided into three sections by two rows of semicircular arches.

Nuestra Señora de las Angustias Church

A single-nave building with three sections and a square apse recessed behind three semi-circular arches on marble columns from the late 15th century. It was renovated in the mid-18th century.  The first two sections belong to the original temple. The first is covered by a half-barrel vault with lunettes and the second with a ribbed vault.
